Lukashenka called for everyone to be brought to the fields – children, students, and civil servants, because “there is plenty of harvest.”
Lukashenka called on the heads of district administrations to “mobilize everyone” for the harvest, stressing that this includes students. The pro-government media Belta writes about it.
Self-proclaimed President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said the country needed to “mobilize everything” and send as many people as possible to the harvest.
“A very wide market has opened for agricultural enterprises. We can sell everything to Russia, China. Moreover, these countries are ready to buy twice as many Belarusian products … That is, the market has opened and the prices are decent. Therefore, talk about where the sanctions, some kind of mobilization, war, etc. – they are not accepted. Mobilize everyone! … If a person leaves for 5-6 hours to work, both parents will be happy and the child will be in good physical condition,” said Lukashenka.
He urged to send to the fields and students, and workers, and civil servants and “other people to help us clean all this”
“Because we can earn decent money. Not now, but in the spring,” said Lukashenka.
Earlier, Alexander Lukashenko made an “unofficial” and unexpected visit to Abkhazia, a region of Georgia temporarily occupied by Russia. Later, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia summoned the Belarusian ambassador for an explanation and strongly protested this visit.
