“We hope for Poland’s active support in the matter of Ukraine’s membership in NATO and the provision of international security guarantees to our state,” Yermak told his interlocutor.
The head of the administration of the Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky separately mentioned the recommendations prepared by the International Working Group on Security Guarantees for Ukraine regarding the Kyiv Security Treaty, the implementation of which, together with partners, the side of Ukrainian.
The interlocutors also discussed the continuation of aid to the Ukrainian army, the current priority needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, energy security issues, the pseudo-referendums of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, and much more.
In addition, during the meeting, the Polish president awarded Yermak a high state award of the Republic of Poland – the Commander’s Cross with one star of the Order of Merit for Poland.
It will be recalled that on September 29, Zelensky and Duda had a telephone conversation, where they also discussed Russia’s actions in the occupied territories of Ukraine, in particular, the holding of pseudo-referendums.
