Russia does not consider the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with India Today on Tuesday, April 19.
Interestingly, the Russian Interfax and RIA Novosti news agencies cited Lavrov’s response to the question of whether Russia considers the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine in different ways.
Thus, Interfax provides the following answer: “Only conventional weapons.”
RIA Novosti quoted Lavrov as follows: “At this stage, we are considering the option of standard weapons.”
Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia could use nuclear weapons against Ukraine, and the countries of the world should be prepared for it.
