In Ukraine, on the morning of October 3, more than 1,200 children suffered as a result of the war unleashed by Russia. 416 children died and over 784 were injured of varying severity. It was reported by the Office of the Attorney General.
It is noted that these numbers are not final, as work is underway to establish them in areas of active conflict, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
The most affected children are in Donetsk region – 403, Kharkiv region – 249, Kyiv region – 116, Mykolaiv region – 75, Chernihiv region – 68, Luhansk region – 64, Kherson region – 57, Zaporozhye region – 50, Dnepropetrovsk region – 29 .
In addition, it became known that on March 23, as a result of enemy shelling of Izyumsky district of Kharkiv region, three children aged 13 to 14 were killed.
And on September 30, in the Donetsk region, a child died as a result of a shrapnel wound.
It will be remembered that as a result of shelling of an evacuation convoy in the Kharkiv region, 24 people died, among the dead – 13 children and a pregnant woman.
It was also reported that four people – two adults and two children – who were members of the same family, fell victim to a missile attack by Russian troops on the Dnieper.
