According to him, the government intends to increase the allocation of additional money for the integration of newcomers.
“Following recent developments in Russia and Ukraine, Finance Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Repatriation and Integration Minister Pnina Tamano-Shato will present a decision to allocate an additional NIS 90 million for the integration of immigrants ,” the Israeli prime minister asserted.
Lapid also said that the country’s Ministry of Repatriation and Integration will hold a meeting of a special commission to determine the procedure for preparing for a new wave of mass repatriation of Jews in the country.
Israel has a law of return for Jews to their historic homeland, which provides material and organizational assistance, as well as simplified citizenship for Jews arriving in the country.
