In Russia, the rapper committed suicide because of the mobilization

Rap artist Ivan Petunin jumped from the 11th floor to avoid getting into the war unleashed by the Russian Federation on Ukraine.

Russian rap artist and battle MC Ivan Petunin, who wrote tracks and performed under the pseudonym Walkie, committed suicide by jumping from the 11th floor. The incident occurred on Friday, September 30 in Krasnodar, Russia. This was reported by the local edition 93.ru.

The information was confirmed by the girl of the rap musician, as well as her friends. Petunin died at the age of 27.

On his Telegram channel, he published a dying video and explained that he did not want to go to war.

“I’m not ready to kill for any ideals. For me, to kill a person, in a war or just like that, this is something I can’t do. I don’t have the right to pick up a machine gun and shoot people,” assured the rapper.

According to him, although he has a delay from mobilization, because he is being treated in a psycho-neurological dispensary, he is confident that mobilization will soon be universal. Petunin says that delay will not save him, because he has all the parts of the body and “a finger to pull the trigger”.

“I am not ready to take up arms and kill my own kind. Forgive me, those who love me, but sometimes you have to die for your principles. And my final decision is how I will die: from those person we attacked. , (in order, – ed.) to remain forever in history as a person who supported what was happening, or to express his last protest,” he said.

He also criticized the war, which was started by the head of the ruling regime of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.

“I don’t understand its reasons, its essence. And, for me, we have all become hostages of a madman who gives us a choice: either prison, or the army, or the exit I chose ,” he stressed.

The rap artist encouraged fans to listen to the album he released the day before, and also wished everyone “the war is over and a normal life.”
