As a result of the pseudo-referendum, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the “independence” of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The corresponding orders were published on the official portal of legal information of the Russian Federation on the evening of Friday, September 30.
“Given the will of the people of the Zaporizhia (Kherson) region in the referendum held on September 27, 2022, I have decided to recognize the state sovereignty of the Zaporizhia (Kherson) region,” the document said.
It is noted that the criminal orders have come into force.
