Anti-mobilization actions took place in the regional capital, Makhachkala, as well as in the republic’s second largest city, Khasavyurt.
Protests against the partial mobilization announced in Russia, which took place in Dagestan on September 25-26, were prepared by the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. This was announced on Wednesday, September 28, by the head of the republic, Sergei Melikov.
“Now, quite reasonably, we have information that these networks are controlled by the Center for Ideological and Psychological Operations of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Special Operation Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Indirectly, of course, not from Kyiv,” he said.
According to him, the “decision-making centers”, where they allegedly led the protest movement in Dagestan, “are located on the territory of Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Georgia.”
It will be remembered, on the eve it was reported that Dagestan was engulfed in protests against the mobilization. Police fired into the air and tried to disperse the protesters.
It should be noted that after Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the Russian Federation, protests began in many cities of the Russian Federation.
