About 40 tons of air conditioners and spare parts for Russian-made cars were arrested, according to the State Bureau of Investigation.
Employees of the State Bureau of Investigation, with the help of Kyiv customs, blocked the possibility of importing Russian goods into Ukraine worth millions of hryvnias. About 40 tons of air conditioners and spare parts for Russian-made cars were seized, and steps are underway to transfer the property to ARMA’s management. This was reported by the press service of GBR.
“It was established that two domestic enterprises continued to cooperate with Russian companies even after the full Russian invasion of Ukraine. They bought auto parts and air conditioners from the Russians and paid for the goods in cash of Russia. Auto parts were imported into the customs territory of Ukraine through affiliated Belarusian and Chinese companies, whose beneficiaries are citizens of Russia,” the statement said.
Criminal proceedings are opened under the article of funding actions committed with the aim of forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or usurping state power (part 2 of article 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The penalty of the article provides imprisonment for up to seven years.
Earlier, the State Bureau of Investigation reported that the Russian Federation was involved in the distribution of drugs in the frontline zone.
