Fires and murders. How in the Russian Federation is struggling with mobilization

After Vladimir Putin announced the mobilization, military commissariats and administration buildings across Russia began to be set on fire, and there were large protests in Dagestan.

The slight mobilization announced by Vladimir Putin in Russia was immediately declared a grave. Russians don’t want Ukraine to die as much as their president. Some queued in kilometer-long traffic at the border, while others tried to move. It has reached the shooting of the military commissar and violent clashes with law enforcement officers.

Arson

In the first six months of a mass attack in Russia, at least 20 military commissariats were burned, now the frequency of such incidents has increased significantly, since September 21 there have been at least 11 attempts.

On the evening of September 21, in the city of Lomonosov, which is part of St. Petersburg, the military registration and enlistment office of the Lomonosov district of the Leningrad region burned down. On the same day

There was a fire in the building of the military registration and enlistment office of the Kanavinsky district of Nizhny Novgorod. A Molotov cocktail, or Molotov cocktail, was allegedly thrown through one of the ground floor windows.

On the night of September 23, in Khabarovsk, they tried to set fire to the military enlistment office of the Industrial District with the help of Molotov cocktails, two offices were burned, no one was injured. On the evening of September 25, in the city of Chernyakhovsk, Kaliningrad Region, a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the building of the military registration and enlistment office. And so on, such a description could go on for a very long time. Moreover, the Russians, in addition to military enlistment offices, also set fire to the buildings of local administrations.

Killing

In the city of Ust-Ilimsk, Irkutsk region, a man opened fire at the military enlistment office, injuring the military commissar. Moreover, when the media first reported the death of the military commissioner, now they say that he is in intensive care, in a very serious condition, he has six bullet wounds.

25-year-old local resident Ruslan Zinin was shot. Before firing, he allegedly said: “We’re all going home.”

protests

Most actively protest against the mobilization in Dagestan. Local residents block the roads and are not afraid to fight the police.

Dissatisfied with the mobilization also gathered in Nalchik, the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria. Local officials approached them. They refused to answer the question of how many men from the republic planned to be drafted.

According to Ukrainian political scientist Igor Reiterovich, the spontaneous street rally in Makhachkala began to be coordinated by the people and provoked an increasingly aggressive reaction from the authorities, and what is important is whether it will serve as an example for other parts of Russia.

“When they don’t organize things on the street in the format of a spontaneous rally. It can be seen that there are certain organizers there and they, in principle, are already presenting some requirements to the authorities: that they release all the detainees, in fact, stop the mobilization, give them some time to fulfill the it is necessary. The reaction of the authorities to this is understandable, in order to catch up with more soldiers, more representatives of the National Guard, they say that they plan to bring the Russian Guard there from Chechnya. That is, the Kremlin will continue to play with ethnic disputes, which in fact have not disappeared anywhere in the Russian Federation, but have been hidden to a certain extent in recent years. But here it is very important if this example, which happened in Dagestan, will inspire others. Because in Russia, as of January 1, 2014, there were 83 subjects of the federation,” he notes.

Moreover, according to Reiterovich, protests in the Caucasus regions will not fundamentally change the situation, so everything depends on whether the wave of such protests spreads to other regions.
