Illegal and fake referendums on the accession of four regions of Ukraine to Russia continue for the third day.
In Kakhovka, Kherson region, during a visit to people’s homes on the so-called referendum, residents are persistently offered to vote for the “necessary” mark on the ballot and are given a monetary reward.
This was told to Radio Liberty by Novosti Priazovye by one of the residents on condition of anonymity for security reasons.
Two collaborators walk with two military men who have a mask on their faces and only their eyes are visible. They go from house to house, pulling on doors. There are those who do not open. Those people who open the door are threatened to sign the ballots. Those who sign and give the “necessary” answer are given 40,000 rubles each. And, of course, there are neighbors who rent and say in which apartments people are now, ”said the man.
Meanwhile, the mayor of Melitopol claims that 90% of residents vote against. This is how Ivan Fyodorov assessed the course of the “referendum” of infidels.
Those whom the invaders found on the streets, in houses, apartments, vote against and do not want to participate in this event. It was also extremely difficult for the invaders to recruit members of the so-called election commissions. Only they completed them by a little more than 20%. Therefore, today it is not about democracy, not about what is really happening on the territory of Melitopol. This is Russian propaganda. Slightly in numbers it looks like this. Now the invaders managed to find less than 20% of our residents. And they agreed to note something there in the ballots. According to our information, 90% of residents vote against, – said the mayor of Melitopol.

The Ukrainian authorities have said that representatives of seven countries present as “observers” at pseudo-referendums organized by the Russian invaders are taking part in a collective crime against the independent state of Ukraine.
