Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down four Russian planes in one day

The Ukrainian air defense unit on Saturday, September 24, destroyed four aircraft, five drones and a Russian cruise missile. This was stated in the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed 4 aircraft (Su-25, two Su-30 and one Su-34), 5 UAVs and a cruise missile of invaders,” said the General Staff.

It was also reported that on the current day, units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Petropavlovka, Vyemka, Bakhmutskoye, Zaitsevo, Experienced, Otradovka, Nevelskoye and Novomikhailovka.

To support the actions of the ground groups, Defense Forces aircraft delivered 19 strikes. The defeat of 14 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment and five positions of anti-aircraft missile systems was confirmed.

Rocket and artillery troops, in particular, hit four command posts, more than 10 areas of concentration of enemy manpower and equipment, three air defense positions and four ammunition depots. Enemy losses are specified.

At the same time, the invaders launched five missiles and 12 air strikes, carried out more than nine attacks from multiple rocket launchers on military and civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine, violating International Humanitarian standards Law, the laws and customs of war. .

• in the Slobozhansky direction – in the areas of Goptovka, Strelechya, Ivashki, Aleksandrovka, Podily, Kupyansk and Gorokhovatka settlements;

• in the direction of Kramatorsk – Prishib, Yarovaya, Ozernoe, Dibrova, Raygorodok and Seversk;

• in the direction of Bakhmut – Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutskoye, Veselaia Dolina, Otradovka, Zaitsevo, Yakovlevka, New York, Verkhnekamenskoye, Belogorovka and Rozdolovka;

• in the direction of Avdeevka – Avdeevka, Berdichi, Pervomayskoye, Karlovka, Vodyanoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.

• in the directions of Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhia, more than 25 settlements underwent shelling. Among them are Vuhledar, Novoukrainka, Novoselka, Novopol, Belogorye, Orekhov, Temirovka and Vremenka.

• in the Yuzhnobugsky direction, more than 40 settlements along the contact line were exposed to fire. To conduct reconnaissance, organize fire and strike on civilian infrastructure facilities, the enemy made more than 60 UAV sorties.

Partial mobilization measures continue on the territory of the Russian Federation.
