The Iranian authorities should immediately stop supplying Russia with weapons to kill Ukrainians, and not justify themselves with fantasies of “external influence.” This was announced on Saturday, September 24, by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Oleg Nikolenko, in a comment to the Ukrainian media.
He also responded to Iran’s statement about the influence of “third parties” allegedly aimed at destroying relations between Ukraine and Iran.
“The only ‘third party’ is the Iranian drones, which Ukraine shot down directly in its airspace. Tehran bears full responsibility for the deterioration of relations with Ukraine,” Nikolenko said.
At the same time, Nikolenko said that Iran should immediately stop supplying weapons to the Russian Federation to kill Ukrainians, and not justify it with fantasies of “external influence.”
It should be remembered that yesterday the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine removed the Iranian ambassador from accreditation, and also reduced the number of diplomats in the Iranian embassy in Kyiv. And now, a representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry has declared neutrality in the war.
