“The names of our heroes, the exploits of Ukrainian defenders will be preserved and known not only to our people, but to all people of the world who value freedom and will never surrender to any occupier,” the leader of the state. said.
The Order of the Gold Star was received by Colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Mukimba Zhumaboev; Lieutenant of the National Guard Evgeny Gromadsky; anti-aircraft gunner, NGU soldier Roman Glomba; GBR Captain Viktor Shilimov; lieutenant colonel Igor Mikhalchuk, major Alexander Yurkovsky; Senior Lieutenant Vladislav Bandar.
In addition, the President issued orders to the relatives of the fallen defenders who were posthumously awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine.
Earlier, during a working trip to the Kharkiv region, Zelensky presented state awards to Ukrainian servicemen who liberated the region from the invaders.
It will be remembered that the President established an award for the defense of Ukraine.
