Snowfall continues in the Carpathians: up to 80 centimeters of snow was covered, an avalanche was recorded. Ivano-Frankivsk rescuers reported this.

Further deterioration of weather conditions in the mountains is reported, tourists are asked not to go to the mountains in the coming days.
“Limited visibility, snow drifts in places up to 80 cm. Avalanches recorded on northeastern slopes. Avoid going out in the mountains in the coming days,” the Chief Director of the National Weather Service State emergency in Ivano-Frankivsk region said in a statement.
