“At night, the enemy managed to get into Kremennaya, but did not gain a foothold. The fighting continues in the city itself,” the governor specified.
In addition, Gaidai said the Russian offensive in the region had already begun and again called on residents to evacuate.
He specified that the removal of civilians from Rubizhne, Lisichansk, Severodonetsk, Gorsky, Popasnaya will be arranged.
Earlier it was reported that on Kremennaya the enemy hit a new sports complex. The attack resulted in a massive fire.
Zolote, in which at least two people were killed, Rubezhnoye, Kamyshevakha, and the police patrol building in Lisichansk were also shot.
