APU hit 40 enemy targets – General Staff

Enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Veseleye, Kurdyumovka, Nikolaevka Vtoraya, Bakhmutskoye, Zaitsevo, and others.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled enemy attacks in the areas of nine settlements and hit 40 enemy targets in one day. In particular, out of 20 places of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 13 places of concentration of artillery, as well as seven ammunition depots. This was reported in the morning summary of the General Staff on September 21.

It was noted that enemy attacks were repelled in the areas of the settlements of Veseleye, Kurdyumovka, Nikolaevka Vtoraya, Bakhmutskoye, Zaitsevo, Mayorsk, Pervomayskoye, Maryinka and Novomikhailovka.

Over the past day, Defense Forces aircraft have carried out more than 20 strikes on enemy positions. The defeat of 19 places of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the enemy and two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems were confirmed.

In addition, air defense units destroyed an enemy SU-25 and four UAVs.

At the same time, over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched eight missiles and 35 air strikes, carrying out more than 120 shelling from multiple rocket launchers on Ukrainian targets. Because of this, the infrastructure of more than 50 settlements suffered. Among them are Oskol, Slavyansk, Seversk, Aleksandrovka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Velikaya Novoselka, Vremka, Vugledar, Stepnoye, Zaporozhye, Nikopol and Ochakov.

During the strikes in the city of Nikolaevka, the enemy tried to hit the Slavic TPP.

As mentioned in the General Staff, the situation in the Volyn and Polesye directions has not changed.

In another direction, the enemy continues shelling from tanks, mortars and artillery of various types:

• in the Seversky direction – in the areas of the settlements of Zhelezny Most, Mikhailovo and Guta-Studenetska of the Chernihiv region and Sosnovka, Golyshevskoye, Yunakovka and Turya of the Sumy region;

• in the direction of Slobozhansky – in the areas of settlements Veterinary, Goptovka, Glubokoe, Dergachi, Grushevka, Kupyansk and Kamenka;

• in the direction of Kramatorsk – Donetsk, Studenok, Yarovaya, Tatyanovka, Bogorodichne, Prishib, Shchurovo, Stary Caravan, Raygorodok, Nikolaevka, Rozdolovka, Aleksandrovka and Grigorievka;

• in the direction of Bakhmut – Seversk, Verkhnekamenskoye, Vyemka, Veseloe, Belogorovka, Yakovlevka, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Otradovka, Nikolaevka Second, Zaitsevo, Sukhaya Balka, Yuryevka and New York;

• in the direction of Avdeevka – Berdichi, Avdeevka, Vodyanoye, Krasnogorovka, Maryinka, Paraskovievka, Novomikhailovka and Pervomayskoye;

• in the direction of Zaporozhye – Novopol, Vremovka, Velyka Novoselka, Novoukrainka, Prechistovka, Vuhledar, Pavlovka, Vladimirovka, Zheleznodorozhnoye, Gulyaipole and Krasnoye;

• in the Yuzhnobugsky direction, more than 25 settlements along the entire line of contact were subjected to shelling by the enemy, in particular, these are Vysokoole, Mirolyubovka, Karernoye, Novogrigorievka, Belogorka, Blagodatovka, Andreevka, Zarya, Shevchenkovo, Ternovye Pody , Pravdino and Minoye.

Thanks to the successful action of the Defense Forces, the enemy continued to suffer losses in manpower and equipment.

So, as a result of the strikes on the enemy’s personnel concentration areas and military equipment on September 19 of this year, it was confirmed: the defeat of the personnel concentration area in the Pologovsky district of more than 20 people; in the Melitopol region – an ammunition depot, five units of military equipment and more than 20 servicemen; in the Kamenka settlement area – 10 units of military equipment and more than 10 soldiers of the units of the occupation forces.

It was also confirmed the destruction of the commandant’s office in the city of Svatovo, Luhansk region, where the enemy set up a headquarters and an ammunition depot.
