Ukraine, together with one of the member states of the Alliance, will create a plant for the production of ammunition.
Ukroboronprom is building an ammunition plant with a NATO member country. This was announced by the press service of the concern in a briefing on Tuesday, September 20.
At the same time, the details of the construction of the plant were not disclosed. They also added that this is the second defense enterprise, in the construction of which international agreements were reached and an appropriate agreement was concluded for the production of ammunition according to NATO standards.
Enterprises of the state defense industry are working around the clock on the production, modernization and restoration of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukroboronprom noted.
Since February 24, the enterprises of the concern have provided five times more military equipment and weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine than in the entire previous year.
Part of the armored vehicles after the next battle damage went in for repair in the fifth circle. The concern added that mobile repair teams are also working round the clock.
Also, one of the enterprises of the concern received the right to conduct demining and other operations with explosive objects on the territory of Ukraine.
The enterprise has its own Center for Humanitarian Demining, UN accreditation and high-class specialists. The enterprise became the third in Ukraine, after the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, which can neutralize and dispose of ammunition.
