A forester and two former law enforcement officers who worked in punitive detachments were detained.
In Volchansk, Kharkiv region, the chief forester was detained, who, during the temporary occupation of the city, agreed to cooperate with the invaders. It was noted that after the successful offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the forester began to hide from justice, but was found and detained. A notice of suspicion of the fact of high treason is being prepared (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
In addition, in Volchansk and Kupyansk, the SBI, in cooperation with the GUNP in the Kharkiv region, exposed two former law enforcement officers who worked in punitive detachments of the occupation police. They searched the local population, confiscated weapons and patrolled the city.
The defendants were informed about the suspicion of high treason (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). They face life imprisonment with confiscation of assets.
Recall that the special services detained an employee of the Dnipro Design Bureau Yuzhnoye, who, according to the investigation, sent information to the FSB about advanced Ukrainian military developments.
It was also reported that the police opened 19 criminal cases against the cooperating teachers.
