The Armed Forces of Ukraine rejected several enemy attacks – General Staff

Rocket and artillery troops fired on 16 enemy targets. Defense Forces Aviation hit 24 enemy concentration areas.

Over the past day, the Ukrainian military has repelled enemy attacks in the areas of the settlements of Mayorsk, Vesele, Kurdyumovka and Novomikhailovka. This was stated in the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on September 20.

Thus, Defense Forces aircraft hit 24 places of concentration of enemy manpower and military equipment, four positions of anti-aircraft missile systems and an ammunition depot.

In addition, Ukrainian air defense units in different directions destroyed a Su-25 aircraft, a guided missile and three enemy UAVs.

Troops fired rockets and artillery at 16 enemy targets over the past day. In particular, in six areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, seven areas of concentration of artillery, as well as three ammunition depots. Total enemy losses are specified.

It was noted that over the past day, the Russian invaders have launched 10 missiles and 15 air strikes, carrying out more than 56 attacks from the MLRS on objects on the territory of Ukraine. As a result of Russia’s shelling, the infrastructure of more than 33 settlements was destroyed. In particular, these are Slavgorod, Kramatorsk, Bakhmut, Mayorsk, Vodyanoye, Dorozhnoye, Soledar, Novopole, Zaporozhye, Nikolaev, Aleksandrovka, Snigirevka, Novaya Odessa, Shirokoye, Belogorsk, Mirolyubovka and Belaya Krinitsa.

In the direction of Volyn and Polesye, the situation does not change.

In other directions, the enemy carried out shelling from tanks, mortars and artillery of various types, especially in the direction of Seversky – in the areas of settlements of Nikolaevka, Chernigov Region and Novovasilievka, Slavgorod and Ryasnoye, Sumy Region;

In the direction of Slobozhansky – in the areas of the settlements of Kazachya Lopan, Shevchenkovo, Dergachi, Kamenka, Strelechya, Glubokoe and Dvurechnaya;

In the direction of Kramatorsk – Aleksandrovka, Donetsk, Raygorodok, Shchurovo, Krivaya Luka, Ozernoe, Belogorovka, Prishib, Grigorievka and Seversk;

In the direction of Bakhmut – Mayorsk, Nikolaevka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Soledar, Bakhmutskoye, Bakhmut, Veselaia Dolina, Otradovka, Veseloe, Vyemka, Nikolaevka Second, New York, Belogorovka, Yuryevka, Spirnoe, Zaitsevo and Yakovlevka;

In the direction of Avdeevsky, Krasnogorovka, Marinka, Novomikhailovka and Pervomayskoye were burned;

In the directions of Novopavlovsk and Zaporozhye, the enemy did not conduct active operations. The settlements of Ugledar, Velikaya Novoselka, Nikolskoye, Maly Shcherbaki, Novomayorskoye, Malaya Tokmachka, Krasnoye, Pavlovka, Gulyaipole, Novopole and Vremka suffered from shelling in these directions;

In the Yuzhnobugsky direction, the enemy shelled more than 28 settlements. Among them are Aleksandrovka, Novogrigorievka, Dawn, Shevchenkovo, Mirnoye, Shirokoye, Belogorka, Bezymyanny, Mirolyubovka, Vysokopole and Olgino.

Recall that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the south destroyed 90 invaders and enemy equipment.

According to the General Staff, the loss of Russian army personnel from February 24 to September 19 was approximately 54,650 people.
