Head of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mr.minquetour), Roberto Sanchez reported that commercial exchange between Peru and USA in the first seven months of 2022, it reached $12.365 million, up 49% from the same period in 2021.
“The United States is the main destination for our shipments of non-traditional goods, receiving 52% of our textile exports and 34% of our agricultural exports,” the statement said.
The portfolio showed that Peruvian agricultural exports to the world’s first powerhouse generated US$1,527 million (30.4%) between January and July, and a total of US$594 million (37.4%) in the textile industry.
