Flooding in Italy’s eastern Marche region has killed 11 people, including a child. Two other people are considered missing. Such data on Saturday, September 17, was published by ANSA, citing local authorities.
As indicated, they are still looking for an eight-year-old girl and a 56-year-old woman.
It was noted that due to the flood 150 people were evacuated. At the same time, regional authorities are urging people to stay indoors and move to higher floors as more rain is expected. New evacuations are not ruled out.
In addition, as a precaution, all shopping centers in the vicinity are closed, and traffic is prohibited on some local roads.
