The head of state praised Ukraine’s swift counteroffensive but dismissed any suggestion that the war was approaching some kind of final stage.
Ukraine’s partners may cut off arms supplies if Kyiv does not launch a counter-offensive. This was said by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Reuters.
“I believe that this (counteroffensive – ed.) is a very important step that has influenced or will affect the decisions of several other countries,” he said.
The President of Ukraine also noted that Ukraine’s territorial gains have amazed other countries.
At the same time, he dismissed any suggestion that the war was approaching some kind of final stage and might be nearing its end.
In addition, Zelensky repeated his call to Western countries and other states to intensify the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
“We would like more help from Turkey, we would like more help from South Korea. More help from the Arab world. From Asia,” he said.
Recall that Zelensky spoke about the atrocities of the occupiers in the Kharkiv region and compared the region’s tragedy to Bucha.
