The head of state noted that the security of the European continent can be “provided” with the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons.
Ukraine’s support with arms, shells and finances is a decisive factor for peace in Europe. This is what President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his video message.
“In general, supporting Ukraine with weapons, shells, and finances is very important for peace in Europe. The better support we have, the sooner this war will end,” he said.
The head of state added that he “spoke about this with representatives of leading think tanks in Poland, Britain, France and the United States,” who arrived in Kyiv.
According to him, the real protection of freedom and the values of the free world is now possible as a result of Ukraine’s victory in the war against Russian aggression.
It will be remembered that the Pope said that the supply of weapons to Ukraine to protect against Russian aggression is “morally acceptable.” The pope laid out the “just war” principles of the Roman Catholic Church: they allow the proportionate use of lethal weapons to protect against the aggressor.
It should be noted that, according to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, Ukraine’s ultimate goal in dealing with Russia is to restore all of its legal borders, which were on August 24, 1991.
