Russia has postponed the rotation of its troops to Syria

In the central regions of the Russian Federation, military registration and enlistment offices are trying to recruit contract servicemen. Military service officers are encouraged to join the army for 3 months to 1 year.

Because of the war in Ukraine, Russia has postponed the rotation of its troops to Syria. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Due to the conduct of battles on the territory of Ukraine, the rotation of units of the 68th Combined Arms Army of the Eastern Military District in the Syrian Arab Republic has been postponed,” the report said.

It was noted that in the central regions of the Russian Federation, military registrations and enlistment offices are trying to recruit contract soldiers. Military service officers are encouraged to join the army for 3 months to 1 year.

It was previously reported that the first contingent of Syrian mercenaries arrived in Russia to undergo military training before being sent to Ukraine.
