The Russians fired on Krivoy Rog with rockets. The goal of the invaders is hydraulic structures.
In Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk region, city authorities conducted a controlled explosion of a hydraulic structure on the Ingulets River in the residential area of Chernogorka. The explosion was carried out with the help of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, September 14, reports the Kryvyi Rih official Telegram channel.
The undermining was carried out to reduce the consequences of the Russians’ impact on the city’s hydraulic structures.
According to Dnepropetrovsk OVA, the Russian military fired seven rockets into the city. The enemy hit critical infrastructure and transportation facilities. The invaders severely damaged the hydraulic structures.
According to Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko, a water leak of 100 cubic meters per second was observed at the impact site.
“This is a significant amount. And the water level in the Ingulets River changes every hour. We are clearly aware of the magnitude of the tasks facing us to eliminate the consequences of missile strikes,” he wrote.
The water level along the city streets is constantly monitored by special posts. They also monitor the private sector, whose houses are located in the Ingulets and Central City districts of the city, where there is a risk of flooding.
Earlier, the president said that the Russian invaders had launched rocket attacks on hydraulic structures to flood Krivoy Rog.
