“Almost throughout the territory of the Kherson region, our fire control is maintained, we continue our combat work, but it is too early to talk about successes, we need to gain a foothold in the liberated settlements,” he says.
Gumenyuk remembered the features of the military operation in the south because of the landscape.
“Therefore, there is no information openness here, because it is very dangerous for our units and the population due to the threat of shelling from the enemy. Many territories are mined, we cannot announce all our victories, but we are advancing and pushing the Russians – it’s very demoralizing for them,” he said.
According to him, the morale of the Russian troops was also damaged by the successes of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the offensive in the Kharkiv region.
