The Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated several thousand square kilometers from the Russian invaders in a matter of days.

Ukraine still controls 45% of the Donetsk region. This was announced on Monday, September 12, by the head of Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko on the air of the national telethon.

“The Donetsk region is one of the largest regions that have been attacked and are still being attacked by the enemy, but control, despite all their attempts, remains constant over 45% of the region. This is taking into account the fact that Mariupol and Volnovakha are not cities occupied by the enemy, but destroyed cities,” said Kirilenko.

Kirilenko stressed that the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over 45% of Donbass remains constant.

Recently it became known that fighters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine entered Svyatogorsk, Donetsk region. In the city and its surroundings, the cleansing from the invaders continues.
