The State Bureau of Investigation reports the arrest of a former policeman who went over to the enemy’s side, and forest workers who helped the invaders.
The SBI continues to detain traitors in the unoccupied territories of the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the press service of the State Bureau of Investigation.
It is reported that a former law enforcement officer who held a high position in the village of Veliky Burluk was detained. After obtaining the settlement, the police willingly negotiated with the invaders, giving them the premises of the cafe owned by his wife, as well as the company car, to use. In addition, he encouraged his colleagues to go over to the enemy’s side.
“When the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove the invaders out of the village, the former law enforcement officer did not have time to escape and was detained. He was charged with suspicion of high treason (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The punishment of the article provides life imprisonment with confiscation of property,” – said the message.
It was also reported that in the territory of the Kupyansky district of the Kharkiv region, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation recorded the collaborative activities of local forest workers who helped the occupiers to cut down trees for the construction of fort They were informed about the suspicion of the fact of cooperation activities (part 5 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), the punishment of the article provides punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to 10 years.
