The German ambassador said that the discussion in Berlin about the possible supply of Western-style tanks to Ukraine has not been concluded.
German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen said in an interview with Radio NV that official Berlin is pleased with the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“We all watched in Berlin and were delighted by the offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the east and south,” Feldhusen said.
The Ambassador also said that the discussion in Berlin about the possible supply of Western-style tanks to Ukraine is not over yet.
“This discussion is ongoing. You heard our Chancellor more than once, who said that he is in close contact with partners – the USA, Great Britain, France – about this math … Nothing this discussion is yet to end, but I hope it will end successfully and positively for Ukraine,” added Feldhusen.
It was previously reported that Germany has given five more Gepard anti-aircraft guns to Ukraine.
