The Russian Defense Ministry for the first time in several days commented on the retreat in the Kharkov region, calling it regrouping.
Ukraine expects new “regroupings” of Russian troops during the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is how the President’s Office commented on the statement of the Russian Defense Ministry about the retreat in the Kharkiv region, RBC-Ukraine wrote on Saturday, September 10.
According to the adviser to the head of the Office of the President, Mykhailo Podolyak, the de-occupation of settlements in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions shocked the Russian side and weakened their confidence in impunity.
“Finally, Russia’s “special military operation” is returning to its original declared goal, which not everyone immediately understood – the Russian army is actively liberating Ukrainian territories from its own presence. Unfortunately , leaving the traditional marks of the Russian world on these territories – destroyed villages, looted houses, their filthy “places of mass lairage,” said Podolyak.
He added that he expects a new operation to stop and quickly redeploy the Russians’ personnel, “if they have time.”
“This time in the areas of permanent deployment – in Buryatia, Tyva and the Far East,” said Podolyak.
Recall that after several days of the counter-offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation announced that the invaders withdrew from the Kharkiv region to regroup troops to form efforts in the direction of Donetsk .
Recall that during the counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated several large cities – Balakleya, Kupyansk and Izyum.
