They say that “in order to achieve the goals of the NMD, a decision was made to regroup troops in the areas of Balakliya and Izyum to generate efforts in the direction of Donetsk.”
“A number of distraction and demonstration activities were carried out in anticipation of the real actions of the troops. For three days, an operation was carried out to stop and move the group of troops of Izyum-Balakliya to the territory of the DPR ,” the message said.
Also, the RF Ministry of Defense announced strikes against the Armed Forces of Ukraine “using aviation, missile troops and artillery.”
Recall that during the counter-offensive in the Kharkiv region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated several large cities – Balakleya, Kupyansk and Izyum.
