The bodies of two civilians with signs of torture were found in the liberated village of Grakovo, Chuhuivsky district, Kharkiv region. This was announced on Saturday, September 10, by the regional prosecutor’s office.
It was noted that the village was liberated on September 7 by the Ukrainian military. After the de-occupation, a local resident turned to the police and said the Russian military forced him to bury the bodies of the two men.
“On September 9, near the territory of a private household, law enforcement found two corpses with bullet wounds in the back of the head and with signs of torture. According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the victims were killed by Russian soldiers. in March during the occupation of the village,” the prosecutor’s office said.
Now the bodies of the dead have been sent for forensic medical examination. A pre-trial investigation is launched in criminal proceedings on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war, related to planned murder (part 2 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
