During his visit, the German politician wanted to show that Germany continues to support Ukraine and will do so as long as necessary.
German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock arrived in Kyiv on Saturday, September 10. This was reported by the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
“During this visit, I want to show that we will continue to support Ukraine as long as necessary – including the supply of weapons, humanitarian and financial support,” Burbock was quoted as saying.
It is noted that this is Annalena Burbock’s second visit to Ukraine since the beginning of the war.
Earlier, Burbock condemned the Germans for being concerned about reparations rather than the lives of Ukrainians.
