In the video conference, Biden cited continued international support for Ukraine, including “continued provision of military and economic aid, as well as continued pressure on Russia and efforts to hold the Kremlin accountable.”
“The leaders also discussed Russia’s use of energy as a weapon and the need for further coordination to ensure a sustainable and affordable energy supply for Europe,” the White House press office said.
Recall that Biden approved a tranche of aid to Ukraine in the amount of $675 million.
It was also reported that the US Department of Defense is developing a plan for the strategic support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the medium and long term.
