“As part of the ongoing defense operation, our heroes have already liberated dozens of settlements. And now this movement continues, with new results. In total, more than a thousand square kilometers of our territory freed since September 1. Thanks to everyone who ensured this! Thanks to the army, intelligence officers and special services for every flag of Ukraine set these days,” said Zelensky.
He also mentioned that on September 8 he held a new meeting of the Supreme Commander’s Headquarters. The main issue is proactive action ahead.
According to the President, the Headquarters will continue to work in the format of fairly frequent meetings and meetings so that the Ukrainian commanders on the ground have full support at all levels and that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, intelligence and the entire defense and security sector. receive all the necessary resources, all the necessary material, political, informational, diplomatic and other means for the effective defense of Ukraine and the expulsion of the invaders.
Zelensky added that all state activities are focused on the needs of the front and protection of Ukrainians.
