“In response to the unfriendly action of the European Union, 18 employees of the EU Delegation to Russia were declared persona non grata and will have to leave the territory of the Russian Federation in the near future. The corresponding note was given to Markus Ederer,” it said. message.

It noted that a strong protest was expressed to the ambassador in connection with “an unreasonable declaration of persona non grata by 19 employees of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the EU and European Atomic Energy Community.”

Recall that about 20 countries have announced the expulsion of Russian diplomats. More than 400 Russians will return home. In particular, North Macedonia has declared six more Russian diplomats persona non grata today.
