“The visit is up in the air. I don’t know yet. I am talking to them. Tomorrow, for example, I have a telephone conversation with President Zelensky. We’ll see,” the Pope said, answering a question about the possibility of his travel to Ukraine and Russia.
Pope Francis said no trips, except for a visit to Kazakhstan scheduled for September 13-15, were planned in his schedule due to restrictions imposed by doctors.
“Now I can’t go, because after the trip to Canada, the knee is very slow, so the doctor forbids me. But I’m always in touch by phone and doing my best. And I ask everyone to do their doing. possible. The situation is really sad,” he said.
At the same time, the Holy Pope said that some representatives of the Vatican have been in Kyiv since the beginning of the war.
