The Royal Air Force has flown over 8,000 hours and completed over 1,000 missions to assist Ukraine. This is what the Chief of the Air Staff of the United Kingdom, Mike Wigston, said according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday, September 5.
It is indicated that British aircraft delivered more than 1.9 million rounds of ammunition, 25,000 body armor, 86,000 helmets and 5,500 anti-tank weapons to Ukraine.
The Royal Air Force also delivered and participated in the training of 4,500 AFU troops in Britain, giving them advanced skills and experience in defending their country from Russian aggression.
Earlier on Monday, it became known that Britain has expanded the training program for the Ukrainian military. Tens of thousands of people will be trained, and the course of the battle will last five weeks.
