All European countries will need more cooperation and unity, the President of Ukraine insisted.
This winter, the Russian Federation is preparing a decisive energy strike against European countries. President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this in the evening ” rel=”nofollow” target=”_blank”>video message to the people of Ukraine.
“Russia is trying to increase the energy pressure on Europe even more, the flow of gas through the Nord Stream has completely stopped. Why are they doing this? Russia wants to destroy the life of every European in all countries on our continent, wants to weaken and terrorize the whole of Europe, every country. Where Russia cannot do this with force and weapons, it is turning it into a weapon of energy. It is trying to strike with poverty and political unrest where it has not been it can hit missiles,” Zelensky said.
All European countries need more mutual help and solidarity, the President of Ukraine insisted.
“This winter, Russia is preparing for a decisive energy strike against all Europeans. And the main responses should be two things. The first is our unity in defense against a terrorist country, the second is increasing our pressure on Russia, this means strengthening all levels of sanctions and limiting Russian oil and gas revenues,” Zelensky added.
