The priest collects information for the enemy about the number, deployment, equipment, and weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk and the villages adjacent to the city.
Prosecutors of the Lisichansk District Prosecutor’s Office of the Lugansk region sent an indictment to the court against an informer of enemy troops – a priest of the UOC-MP. He was accused of collaborative activities, he faced 15 years in prison. This was reported by the press service of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
When documenting the crime, letters to the army representatives of the aggressor country were found on the priest’s phone.
“The investigation established that in mid-April 2022, the cleric collected information for representatives of the army of the aggressor country on the number, deployment, equipment, and weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Severodonetsk and the villages adjacent to city. He sent the data in the form of text messages through the Telegram messenger. The information received was used by the enemy to identify targets and then engage them in fire,” the press service said in a statement.

Law enforcement officers reportedly exposed and detained the priest at the end of April. He is currently in custody.
Earlier, the media found out who in Melitopol was helping the occupiers organize the “referendum”.
