The group posted on Twitter a photo of three women holding hands in front of the speaker’s chair, while two other members of the group held a sign that read Let the People Decide and Citizens’ Assembly Now.
The group said in a statement that about 50 people participated in the protest, including three who entered the building on an official tour.

The group said another member climbed the scaffolding around Big Ben while two others chained themselves to the railings.

However, there was not a single MP in the chamber, as Parliament is in summer recess and does not begin until Monday, when Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak replace Boris Johnson as prime minister.
We remind you, previous climate activists blocked traffic in the Houses of Parliament in London. The demonstration is part of a two-week campaign of civil disobedience taking place in cities across Britain.
