Groups of people in civilian clothes, introduced to FSB officers, conduct door-to-door tours of Moscow.
The Chief Intelligence Director of the Ministry of Defense announced that a campaign is intensifying in Moscow to find Russian citizens who have a negative attitude towards the war against Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to former citizens of Ukraine and Ukrainians by origin.
It was noted that groups of people in civilian clothes, introduced to FSB officers, were making door-to-door rounds in Moscow. Residents are asked if Ukrainians live somewhere nearby or if someone does not rent housing to Ukrainians. Also find out the attitude of the citizens towards the war.
This is done to prevent the formation and spread of a negative attitude to the war and to identify people who can influence the formation of an independent public opinion about it.
“Also, this campaign should build a negative image of Ukrainians – terrorists and radicals. In the future, they may be accused of terrorist attacks organized by Russian special services on the territory of Russia ,” the intelligence report said.
Recall that earlier the GUR said that the Russian Federation has experienced a shortage of personnel since the beginning of the invasion, and cannot send more than 300-350 thousand military men to the war in Ukraine.
