The Ministry of Defense announced “good news” about a new military aid package from Sweden.
The Swedish authorities will provide the Armed Forces with “several important and valuable tools.” This was announced on Thursday, September 1, by Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov in Twitter.
“Good news about a new military aid package from Sweden, confirmed today by my friend and colleague, the Swedish Defense Minister Peter Gultqvist,” he said.
At the same time, Reznikov did not disclose the details, but noted that “some important and important tools” will be provided to the Ukrainian military on the front line.
It will be remembered that Reznikov said that the war could end with the victory of Kyiv before the end of the year. This is possible with coordinated assistance from partners and increased economic pressure on the Russian Federation.
It was previously reported that Ukraine received a new military aid package from Sweden. In particular, the specific positions expected by Ukraine were named – Archer howitzers, RBS-70 anti-aircraft missile system and more shells for the artillery system.
