In Ukraine, Austria and Germany, hackers are sending malware

On August 30 and 31 mass mailings of e-mails Technical Drawing (Technisches Zeichnen) were recorded. As a result of opening it, a malicious program is downloaded to the PC.

Hackers send massive letters to Ukrainian, Austrian and German organizations, opening which leads to the download of malware to PCs. This is reported by the State Special Communications Service.

It was reported that on August 30 and 31 mass mailings of technical drawing (Technisches Zeichnen) emails were recorded.

“The email attachment contains an IMG file (for example, “Technical drawing.img”) that contains a CHM file of the same name, which opens to execute JavaScript code, which in turn loads and executes a node .txt file using PowerShell.
The specified file contains PowerShell code that will decode, decompress (Gzip) and execute DLL and EXE files. The EXE file is AgentTesla malware.”

Earlier it was reported that a group of hackers sold on the Internet secret military documents containing data on modern weapons systems of NATO countries and the Alliance’s mission in the Baltic countries.
