Explosions rumbled through the suburbs of occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Ivan Fedorov.
“The resistance continues: about 10 explosions were recorded south of Melitopol, in the direction of the Molochny estuary, where the invaders brought their military equipment. The explosions increased: first they were heard by the inhabitants of the south streets, then the whole city. We are collecting more detailed information,” wrote the city leader.
On the morning of August 31, three columns of enemy equipment were spotted in Melitopol, moving towards Kherson.
It will be recalled that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have recently launched offensive operations in many areas in the south of the country.
On the night of August 29, about 400 army vehicles left Crimea in a column headed for Kherson.
