“The Muscovites and Petersburgers called up during the secret mobilization will complete the military units stationed in the temporarily occupied Crimea,” the intelligence service said.
In addition, to replenish the military units in Crimea, the commander of the Southern Military District, Alexander Dvornikov, called the “Syrian butcher,” ordered 1,200 conscripts to be sent to Crimea.
“Since there is no active hostilities in Crimea, the servicemen are not offered to sign a contract, which may imply saving money and do not want to pay allowances set by Russian law. 1,200 conscripts will serve and die under of the blows of the Ukrainian troops and in the hands of the partisans for the salary of a conscript, and it is about five thousand rubles (about 82 US dollars),” GUR emphasized.
The Russian Federation will also be able to save state funds by not paying compensation for the death of military personnel, as it officially denies the participation of conscripts in the conflict.
It was previously reported that the occupiers are conducting a covert mobilization of the Ukrainian lands seized after February 24.
