The joint coordinating center within the framework of the Black Sea Grain Initiative agreed on the departure of three vessels with corn from Ukrainian ports on August 31. The Interfax-Ukraine agency reported this in connection at the UN.
It was noted that Maran Astronomer (74.5 thousand tons of cargo) and Lady Aillar (27 thousand tons of cargo) were going to Spain from the port Pivdennyand Hazar S (5.5 thousand tons of cargo) will continue to Turkey from Chornomorsk.
“On August 30, the total tons of grain and other food products exported from three Ukrainian ports was 1,445,016 tons. In total, 133 vessels were allowed to move at this moment – 73 arrived at Ukrainian ports and 61 left them,” – noted the UN.
It will be recalled that on July 22, an agreement was signed in Istanbul on the launch of a “grain corridor” from Ukraine. The agreement provides for the export of Ukrainian food along the Black Sea from three ports, including Odessa.
