Gas supplies via Nord Stream to Germany have almost completely stopped due to the start of repairs on the only remaining gas pumping unit at the Portovaya compressor station. On Wednesday, August 31, TASS reports.
It was noted that the physical flow of gas through Nord Stream at the point of acceptance in German Greifswald in the Nel gas pipeline has completely stopped since 03:00 on Wednesday.
In the Opal gas pipeline at the same moment fell 5.5 times to almost 200 thousand cubic meters per hour. Data from Nord Stream operator Nord Stream AG also confirms these figures.
Judging by the data of German gas transmission operators, supplies through Nord Stream were stopped for three days.
Let us remind you, on Monday the price of gas in Europe fell sharply. Gas futures fell in price after a sharp rise last week on the back of news about Germany’s injection volume.
