In Sarny in the Rivne region, a woman photographed the movement of military equipment and servicemen. Later, using the WhatsApp messenger, she sent these photos with comments in the direction of the movement of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to as yet unidentified persons.
Also, the detainee denied the shelling of the civilian population from Russia and supported the goal of the so-called “special operation” to destroy the Ukrainian nation.
The intruder has already been exposed and declared a suspicion to her.
The prosecutor’s office of the Rivne region reported that a Russian citizen living in the city of Sarny is suspected of passing data on the movement of Ukrainian troops to the Russian military.
According to investigators, the woman, whose name is not mentioned in the message, lived in the Rivne region for many years. On the streets of Sarna, she photographed the movement of Ukrainian military equipment and the military. After that, via WhatsApp, she sent these photos to unknown people with comments on the direction of the movement of troops.
If the Russian woman’s guilt is proven, she faces imprisonment for a term of 5 to 8 years.
Sarny came under rocket fire on 28 August. The head of the regional administration, Vitaliy Koval, said that in addition to the military facility, 30 houses and the district hospital were damaged by the shock wave. People were not injured, but because of the shelling, a forest fire started, which was extinguished after a few hours.
It should be noted that in Sarny there have already been two rocket attacks on a military unit. In general, yesterday’s attack on Sarny became the 12th in a row in the Rivne region.
On August 28, the Russians fired on the city with X-101 missiles from Tu-22 aircraft. A military facility, a hospital and 30 private houses were damaged.
Belarus is constantly used by the Russian army as a springboard for attacks on Ukraine. After the strike, the fighters returned to the Russian airfield.
